Phantom: An Integrated Lamp Creating Illusions

The lamp is available in two versions, each made with different materials. The first version is crafted from brass, giving it a luxurious and elegant appearance. The outer surface is primed and can be painted to match any interior decor. The lamp features LEDs positioned both above and below, with different scattering angles to create a mesmerizing lighting effect. A touch sensor is conveniently located at the bottom, allowing users to adjust the lamp's brightness with a single touch.

The second version of the Phantom lamp is made from gypsum, offering a more cost-effective option while still maintaining the design's unique qualities. Like its brass counterpart, this version can also be painted in any desired color, providing flexibility in customization.

Designed for both residential and commercial spaces, the Phantom lamp adds a touch of intrigue and sophistication to any environment. The Phantom lamp project began in March 2021 in Moscow and was completed in April of the same year. Throughout the design process, the main challenge was effectively visualizing the optical illusion and ensuring its impact on viewers. The result is a stunning piece that seamlessly blends art, technology, and innovation.

The Phantom lamp has received recognition for its exceptional design. It was awarded the Bronze A' Design Award in the Lighting Products and Fixtures category in 2021.
